Dieses Geflecht aus Electroclash und retrolastigem Minimal Electro hat schon ein paar Jahre auf dem Buckel! Aber genau das verleiht dem Debut seinen Charme! Roh, ein wenig dreckig und für die damalige Zeit vielleicht ein wenig zu minimal, passt Bug.Fm genau hier her! Leider hat Mr. Bush sein Watergate nicht bekommen, aber vielleicht kommt dies noch! In diesem Sinne: Electro fürs Volk und hoch die Fäuste!

This network of Electroclash and Minimal Electro with lots of retro elements now exists for some years! But exactly this is granting the debut its charm! Rough, a little dirty, and for the time maybe a bit too minimal, Bug.fm is a perfect match for this label. Unfortunately Mr. Bush didn’t get his Watergate, but maybe it happens someday! In der zweiten Veröffentlichung meldet sich der Labelbegründer selbst zu Tone! Minimaler Electro wie er schöner nicht sein kann! Ein solides Beatfundament wird durch leicht melancholische Flächen und Leads gen Himmel getragen! Fast schon Ambient geht es hier zu, und man hat das Gefühl als würde sich eine Künstliche Intelligenz Gedanken darüber machen, welcher Logik wir Kohlenstoffeinheiten eigentlich folgen! Computer sind doch auch nur Menschen!!

With the second release the founder of the label tones to report! Minimal Electro at its best! A solid basement is carried by slightly melancholic pads and leads up to the sky! It’s nearly like Ambient, and one feels as if an artificial intelligence thinks about what kind of logic we carbon-units actually follow! Computers, however, are humans as well!!

Analoges Reisen im Digitalen Zeitalter. Cit vermischt diese oft so unterschiedlichen Ansätze in Perfektion. Selten klingt heutiger Electro so frisch wie auf der N.F.T.F. EP, ohne Dogmen und ohne Scheuklappen. Eine Zeitreise, jenseits von aneinander gereihten Sampleorgien. Man kann die Hardware praktisch riechen, die bullige 808, die tropfende 303 und die schmatzende Sprachausgabe eines Amiga. Eine wahre Königin unter all den Bauern da draußen. Schachmatt!
